the best reuben ever

Reubens are one of those sandwiches I go months without having and then one day, REUBEN CRAVING!

Luckily, my Step-mom used to work at a restaurant with dang good reubens and makes her own homemade version.  Once you try these, you will never go out for a reuben again!

Added bonus – no thousand island so you won’t feel too guilty afterwards ;)

Ingredients
3 slices corned beef
1/2 cup sauerkraut
2 slices swiss cheese
honey mustard
2 slices deli rye bread

Instructions
1) Toast bread.

2) While bread is toasting, fold and place the slices of corned beef on a microwavable plate as you would place them on bread.  Spread sauerkraut on corned beef.  Put swiss cheese on top of sauerkraut and microwave for 30 seconds.

3) Spread honey mustard to taste on both slices of toasted bread.

4) Scoop warmed-up corned beef/sauerkraut/swiss cheese on to bread.  Cover with other slice of bread and dig in!
